Stones were at their best when Taylor was front and center. Better off listening to somebody else play their music after he left (IMO).

I'm not a big Stones fan,
but this is one of the best rock & roll songs ever !

Nice, I agree on Taylor. Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St are my favorite albums and he really makes the band. Can you Hear me Knockin in my favorite stones tune

fishsmith 03-30-2009 12:50 PM

by far my favorite band.
I'm looking forward to getting out behind my works firewall bars to hear what's been posted.
Dead Flowers is good music, it's my ringtone.

I like the slide guitar in Memo to Turner, and this videos as strage as the song is good.

that was Ry Cooder on slide on memo from turner. The movie although weird is not bad. The guy who played the lead gangster went off the rails after making it.

I'd love it if they asked Mick Taylor to tour. I'd have to go.

Wow thanks for sharing... I didn't know they were having guys play with them like this... Mick Taylor no less!

Poor Keith, he's become just a poser. He never really was much at playing... At least Mick J. is playing, and singing... I betcha behind closed doors J wants T... J always did want more room to perform, it seems to me.

Looks like Mick Taylor IS playing with the Stones on this tour.
I'm sure ticket prices will be ridiculous.

rphud 04-03-2013 08:45 PM

still not sure how Keith pulled this off, but even though not Mick, probably my fav Stones cut

Monkey Man - The Rolling Stones - YouTube

either that or Rocks Off, depending on the mood, really wanted to hear the girl from CT do this on Idol Stones night, but alas she had none IMHO
