you got good taste.
I have only seen Steel Pulse twice as far as Reggae concerts go but have always been a fan from afar for a long time. You can't go to Jamaica and comeback not liking this music and I have been a few times.

Sea Dangles 01-03-2011 11:03 AM

I saw a lot of shows back when. The Channel,Living Room, lots of great small venues.Saw Pablo Moses at Roger Williams Park.I have seen Pulse at least a half dozen times including last year in pvd.Black Uhuru was always at the top of the list with Sly Drumbar and Robby Bassspeare provhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swU8YL-hAbw&feature=player_detailpageiding rythm.

Was just wondering where the Bob Marley was in this thread ?

ProfessorM 01-04-2011 09:19 AM

Mr. Marley is pretty much the standard and often over played IMO.Not saying anything negative about him. I like him a lot. I think he has his own thread somewhere here. There are lots of really good players out there that are pretty darn good and I think these posts are just showing some of them. I like to gravitate towards the more under the radar guys in most of the music i like but still always like the big guns too.
