very nice . Would have never guessed they were from the Lone Star State. Tull influenced, one of my favorite bands, I will check them out. Thanks

I liked it a lot as well. I have been keeping my eye out for when they are going to be in NYC. It seems as I get older I find less and less new music appeals to me as it always seems derivative of something I already heard. last new thing that really knocked me out was Jeff Buckley. Midlake's two records are not necessarily a vastly new sound but they bring a different take on harmony and folk music that finds a nice niche in the Fairport Convention and the Band school. First record The Trials of Van Occupanther is also worth checking out.
