Tough Weather week!!!

Well we got out on Memorial Day and have had to postpone trips this past week until this coming weekend. This weather is wacked. One day its cold, next day its warm. Who knows. One thing is for sure, there is a ton of bait around.

Memorial day I marked so much herring that my shallow alarm was going off which is set for 5 ft and I was in 100 ft of water. We also had alot of mackerel around. But we had an off day for the bite on memorial day, we only managed 4 runs, 2 fish got dropped and 2 got landed, one was just around 29 inches and the other was around 23 inches, and that was it for the day, as we had to get our clients back to the dock a little early.

But this coming weekend is going to bust wide open as there is a big push of fish coming from the south and should be here any day now if not already. We are talking fish up to 40 - 50lbs.

If you want to get out and take a chance at that fish of a lifetime, the spring fishing is one of the best times to do it.

We have a few openings the next couple of weeks so if you are interested give us a call. I am also going to put a few dates out there for Shared Trips, I was just waiting for this weather to settle and starting this weekend it looks like the weather is going to start coming around.
