Hab's Stubby's - estimated value?

I have just purchased these two Hab's Stubby's 3.5 ounce models. Any ideas on the estimated value - I think I got a good deal on these - purchased for a private collection, not to use.

About 5 bucks each, but I'd be willing to offer 10 :hee:

Considering they'd retail for 20-25 I'd think they would be worth 30-35 bucks in a rational sense. But considering what goes on on Ebay who really knows. Aside from being a really nice plug there's nothing all that special about them.

you confirmed what I felt they were worth and what I paid - to me the value is really about a nice plug not the money.

I'd fish 'em.

Heck, I'm fishing one I paid $75 for. Hab's would want it that way I bet.

Well, that's my opinion. Like I indicated, market value may be higher...and I agree. They be meant to be fished.

$75 used to buy a lot of gas for fishing, I admit - I paid around $25 for each of these and cant see myself buying $75 plugs - purely because my wife would kill me for spending that kind of coin with a newborn in the house.

Hey not to break balls and I like fishing eels too,,, but,,,

There is no way of casting an eel into a strong headwind but you sure can cast those needles,,,,,and they catch,,,,

Sometimes catching a nice fish on a windy night can have a big price tag,:humpty::humpty::humpty:,,,, it also is better that not fishing in those conditions at all,,,,,, JMHO

I just hope they get fished,,,

That's why the Habanero made 'em.

Funny this post is here. I had picked up 3 of these, 2 black and purp and one blue a couple weeks before Hab's passed. I had been fishing two of them with good sucess. (These are a great lure for rough conditions) I broke the last one out of the package yesterday fished it.

I am making a mold of something similar and will make some out of hard plastic since the wood ones are a pia to get.
