Just last thursday I was listening to Howie Carr do his death pool and a woman called in and picked Johnny.

RIP Johnny....Super Nice Guy.

They should put a Black Band around Pesky's pole for the rest of the season....

How many people can be described by so many others as having had an influence on them by just being himself?
He is truly what a sports "icon" should be described as.

They should update every sports dictionary to include his name and picture as the description on a "true" sports legend.
