Wow, is this forum dead. What's up you "Rats"?

Been Busy...actually took a bunch of scouts out Kayaking this past weekend for an overnight. We stayed on Thatcher's Island...I'll post up a couple of pics later

I know it's pretty sad when the only recent trip report is my dumb floatie adventure in Dux!!!!:rotf2:

Kevin that sounds like a fun trip. Can't wait to see the pics.

Here's a quick pic of the Route we covered.....on the way back we stopped at theh Dry Salvages and checked out a seal colony...boys loved it...they would pop there heads up and check us out while we were kayaking by.

Fishchick and I went freshwater yakkin' yesterday morning! Kinda disappointing with the responses I been getting so kinda flying by the seat of my pants!! Busy this coming weekend but will be making a July 4th trip in the am if anyone has interest???

PS- I know a few of the regulars been busy with projects.

Ah, "Twin Lights". I used to fish there in the old 16 foot Lund when I was a kid. My friend's dad would drop us off at the Ipswich River launch at 0430 and we fished an explored until he picked us up at 5pm when he finished his shift at work. We weren't even old enough to drive a car yet. We were supposed to stay in P.I. Sound and would have been grounded for life if our parents found out we were fishing Cape Ann!:devil2:

That brings back a lot of early fishing memories when I wasn't much older than those scouts, thanks Kevin:)

I've been on the Vineyard this week with the family, wind has been brutal (15-20) consistently all week, managed to get the kayak out today for a short time, managed a scup and a tiny striper that was it! I would like to come back here in the fall!

Man I got jipped.... I only got to make soap box derby cars as a scout!
