4.5oz Hammer and Groove

Does this lure have tail-weighting like the PoJees do? The PoJees cast like a missile, with rarely even a wobble but need a little more weight to punch through heavy wind. My concern with casting the hammer and groove comes from the description on your website "The "Wobblehead-like" grooves in the front provide the action". I'm wondering if this will also cause fluttering on casts into heavy winds.

Also, I have a PoJee that has 3oz stamped on it. I love it and it has been my most successful piece of tin this season. Word on the street is that you have only made them up to 2.5oz, and I have found some phantom creation. I'll try and remember to snap a pic when I get home.

Do you find any flutter in them? The PoJee is like a missile.

naturally they aren't gonna cast like a missle, but they punch thru the air just fine
they sure weigh enough
also they catch great

What am I doing wrong with the PoJee?

I have caught with metals like T-Hex and the SPRO Swimming Jig.
I have yet to catch a fish on my 2.5 oz. PoJee. I know these lures are very good as friends swear by them. Could I be messing up the retrieve?
Thanks,

It's a pretty straight forward thin profile lure. When retrieved at a moderate rate with no rod action ,it will have a tight wiggle to it just like a silverside on the run. You can give it a little more action with the rod for a change of pace. If you are fishing over a sandy bottom, try letting it hit the bottom and twitch and SLOWLY retrive it dragging the sand. This might seem strange to you but it really works! It is a deadly lure ,just keep throwing it and you will connect.
