I'd have to goo option 2.
Not many haddock in state waters close to home for me. Nice to be able to keep 1 inshore cod while out getting macs to go live lining. |
How many small cod get maimed to cull out one for the box ?

Not much maiming done to a cod with a #16 Sabiki with single hook 4 oz jig on the end. |
I agree with that.
Different story on the bank with the heavy jigs. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
none

I'm hoping for the sake of all GOM fishermen they go to a no possession limit.

option 2 closes it for recs for the month of may -that's the best time. next it will be no bass fishing in june
|
none.
I think it’s a joke you can keep them south of the 42 line but 0 North Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
And in Rhode Island you can pound the bejesus out of them when they are spawning. It doesn’t make sense

I was expressing my opinion WRT Guppy's post about COD in state waters. Which for option 2 in May would be open for 1 fish. Not realizing that option 2 for HADDOCK closes for May for private anglers. Gonna have to go with option 1 after re reading options. The fact that opt 2 for haddock would be open for for hire boats in MAY and not for private boats is absolutely criminal. |

Doubt cod will be viable for a long time if ever. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

All on board with that.
Fished the back from 1978 to 2010. Couldn’t deal with it anymore. The fn bastards stole my soul. I’d have no issues selling noses of the vermin. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
