Happy anniversary

1 year ago today Trump pulled off the greatest political upset in the history of this country & beating the corrupt establishment 👍
3 more years (hopefully another 4 after that) of getting to enjoy watching the liberal nut jobs loose their minds 😜

zimmy 11-08-2017 09:46 AM

Pretty sure you mean lose, not loose. You also mean, in your opinion of course, hopefully another 3 years. A Trump supporter referring to anyone as a nut job is the greatest of ironies.

The Dad Fisherman 11-08-2017 10:11 AM

....and yet, Rosie O'Donnell and Kanye West are still here.

So much for keeping promises....

I come here for the intelligent discussions. Not all threads have that.

I think the line about beating the corrupt establishment was brilliant. Consider that very Soon a lot of Trump's campaign, administration and family will be under indictment.

The subtly of his irony reminds me of George Saunders writing.

peoples in boxes are on fire getting their marching orders it seems..

Having seen several of theses themed post here and on FB about the dear leaders ascendance as a date to hold scared..

I dont get this hero worship of Trump its not a good thing

.no avg person has that date circled on their calendar .. for any POTUS

BigBo 11-09-2017 06:29 AM

And yet, for arguments sake, let's say some average person did happen to have a date circled on their calendar for someone like HRC or anyone else you'd be happy with, I'm sure most of you wouldn't have a problem with that. Yet it's a problem for you when someone across the isle has an imaginary circle.

" I dont get this hero worship of Trump its not a good thing "

Obama got his fair share of worship too, and not just from citizens, but from the media...and from himself...remember his inauguration speech in 2008, something about how he was going to wave his hand and the earth would begin to heal and the oceans would stop rising. He's obviously not anywhere near as boorish or crass as Trump, but his ego is almost as big.

I thin Trump is a world-class jerk. But I am beyond giddy that it wasn't her.

sure he had his fanboys..

But I dont recall any posts here or on FB calling for a day of remembrance after the 1st year or 8th year for the dear leader

its a dear leader mentality not good :btu:

BigBo 11-09-2017 05:26 PM

The POTUS, no matter who, has always been evaluated after the first 100 days, the first year, or whatever. Nothing new. I don't see anything going on with Trump that hasn't been done with others before him.
Are you saying there was no "dear leader" mentality with Obama? Because that would be hilarious if you are. Lol

There was at least one guy here (a very smart guy by the way), who thought he walked on water, could never bring himself to criticize Obama, ever. Never, ever, ever.

He is, by far, the most highly criticized POTUS of the last 30 years. He has his fans, but let's not pretend that he is worshipped all over the place. I don't see people fainting at his rallies.

His staunchest followers are rabid, as were Obama's.

yup...he's still wearing Obama and Hillary Underoos on alternating days even though he bolted for Canada post election.

I think it's more like the remembrance of a Super Bowl victory where the other team was favored by 45 points and the fans of the other team and their members had been mocking your quarterback for the last year as the guy that cold never get it done.....there is a great video compilation of democrat politicians and hollywood dumbasses who provided some wonderful pontifications on the possibility(not) of a Trump presidency

found it.....the very last one is the best!...I could watch this over and over

I look at it more as one year since not her. I am not sure how much better or worse we are as there are elements of both.

Pretty sad when the tops of both tickets were / are in trouble with the LAW and under multiple and extended FBI investigations. The Dems ran the one person that could be beaten by most

There are a million videos showing Hilary's supporters blowing a gasket, and every single one of them is glorious. Here is my favorite...
