Rush is no more

41 years is a hell of a run for any band.

If you haven't watched the recent Dan Rather interview with Geddy I'd look it up...

Given how awesome Clockwork Angels was I'd almost rather hear them do solo or creative projects...end on a high note.

I don't expect any of them to stop playing.

At the height of my geekdom I saw them 5 times in a few months. Front row twice. I remember one concert almost throwing up until I realize the entire sub system for the arena was a few feet in front of me. Then #^&#^&#^&#^& got real.

I was fortunate to take the kid to his first REAL concert on the RUSH 40 Tour.

They sounded awesome though time has been tough on Geddy's voice (which degraded, is still better than mine ever was).

I’ve seen Rush 8 or 9 times.
Mostly years ago in my teens - late 20s.
Back then I was young & narrow minded, I thought Neil Pearl was the greatest thing that ever picked up a pair of sticks.
Now he’s just another very good drummer in my opinion.
Very repetitious & plays a bit like a robot.
