Get rid of the router with Comcast?
Had connection issues, ie. could not get into wifi connection. 1.5 hours later, have disconnected 1/2 year old $300 router and am now running through a "bridge" which is using Infinity's modem as a router as well.... Does that make sense? Can someone tell me if this is the new way of doing things? Why didn't anyone tell me I don't need my own router anymore??? This IT chit drives me n#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g futs! And costs and arm and a leg!

All the kids have cut the cord with providers.....
Better half has to have security for when she is working at home, which is less and less these days. |
Long shot..
Small reset button on router to set back to factory defaults? Then new router password and wifi password ..... From browser... 192.168.1.1 GL |
