Getting the itch

I have started ordering gear to make up some ballyhoo pin rigs. Also ordered a bunch of zukers to add to the spread and a lot more Joe Shutes. I love trolling....

Better keep it quiet, they won't come back if they find out... ;-)

Just finished up training for work. Will start getting things ready next month. One buddy already started tying up sword leaders.

When I fish for tuna on the bank I use bent butt rods and live bait. Lots of ways to catch those things. Spinning gear with plugs or RonZ. ,trolling,mackerel....

I plan a couple South Side "school tuna" trips this high summer. I have not done this for about 8 years; but want to restart. My logs from years past seem to indicate no yellowfins or albacore much before 4th week in July.

Is this still a logical time table?

Mid/late July is about right down there
