I know this is complicated but most of their wealth is a result of the value of their business...they are doing well because their businesses are doing a lot of business.....maybe we should restrict their ability to do business so they can't do so well?

Unfettered capitalism is Amazon inflating its prices on essential items by as much as 1000% during the pandemic while Jeff Bezos refuses to provide sick leave to his warehouse workers.
But they’re making money and who would claim that profiting off a pandemic is bad, hmmm.... Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

This isn't about the ability of some to make money its Pandemic 'Profiteers'
We taxed war profits , this once again is more corporate socialism Its funny to see conservatives attack immigrants for stealing jobs not paying taxes But when corporations and business make billions , and these profits never are shared with employees via pay or health care, what do conservative say to employees find another job if you don't like your pay, and they praise the companies for making money and for not paying taxes |

their rate is only lower than mine and yours, if their income comes from capital gains and not ordinary income. i don’t have a problem with capital gains tax rates being low enough to encourage people to invest. maybe you make it more progressive above certain amounts. for all the liberal whining on this, obama and the democrat congress never tried to fix it. there’s a reason why. The U.S. population has more than doubled since the 1960s, when most of the country’s major infrastructure systems were designed. Many are reaching the end of their lifespan, and are dangerously overstretched, experts say.
What do you think the tax rate was on the upper crust when all these aging roads, bridges, railways and utilities were built? Just where do you think than next major slug of money should come from, just what segment of the American tax paying public do you think probably can easily survive a tax bump to finance long overdue infrastructure repairs? |

This incessant fixation of what 0.01% of the population is doing. Who cares? |
funny republican gave billions in tax cuts to the rich
but now are saying the covid relief bill it do big and now are concerned about the Budget .. rather than helping the Avg american |

he also doubled the standard deduction, and increased child tax credits. neither of these provides any benefit whatsoever, to the rich. when you are forced to lie to defend what you believe, it might be time to question why you believe what you believe. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

tax credits. my liability went down by about 2500 a year. that’s not gristle to us. all you have is made up bullsh*t. you’re wrong. you’re demonstrably wrong about the tax cuts. working families with a couple of kids hit a big break. that’s just fact. it would be easier for you if the trump only helped the wealthy. that’s just not what happened. again, when you have to deny reality to defend your beliefs, you’re in a cult. the standard deduction? (2) did he expand child tax credits? (3) do either of those things help the elite wealthy? answers. yes, yes, no. you want to argue that more could have gone to working people, you get no argument from me. you claim, as harris just did in the debate, that the cuts only helped the wealthy, and youre lying. are you afraid that if you say one complimentary thing about trump, that everyone will hear about it and vote for him? are you afraid you’ll die? i don’t get the need you all have to deny reality that doesn’t fit the orangemanbad message. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
