Factory Lamiglas Finish

I finally went to the new Outdoor World at Patriot Place last weekend to check it out. While I was there I happened to look at a couple Lami Surf Rods. One I think was a 1203 2 piece and I tell you for $292 the finish didn't impress me. Big air bubbles under the guide tunnels and such.

I have been wrapping rods for a few years now and this is sometimes a hard area and you get little bubbles, but these were hugh bubbles.....just kind of surprising to see this on a quality Arra Stick.

Little bubble almost like a foam can sometimes be seen at the sides of guide feed tunnel but they should never be huge. In reality , if you wait just about 20 minuts and hit those spots with a flame lightly , you can get virtually all the bubbles out of that area too.

Someone screwed up on the rod you described and forgot to go back and fix the bubbles that come from the air trapped in the tunnel that work their way out as it spins for a few minutes.
