Hi Ross,

I am not sure there is a way to have Paypal w/o linking it to something.

Link a reloadable prepaid credit card to PayPal.

Are you looking to take payments with it?

Definitely have a sacrificial account, not your Biz/Pers account.

I opened another account at the credit union, got a debit card and use it solely for PayPal. I keep a minimal amount of dough in that account, like $30, when I want to use PayPal I just transfer over some money from my regular account and I am good to go. This way if I get hacked they only get the $30.

This is exactly what I did today. Made two payments to SB square pools. Already received a call from bank's fraud protection service asking me to verify I made them.

I have my PP account linked to my AMEX card and one of my checking accounts. I have never had a problem with any transactions with them

You guys don't know this but I have a little side business selling old 45RPM records. For whatever reason, 80% of my sales are in Europe and I use PP for the payment vehicle. I have never had an issue.

Same here.
I use it as an option for charter payments. (Besides credit cards)
No issues.
For purchases, pp is a form for protection also.
