Natural bait daisy chains?

I've seen them halfway explained in a handful of books, but noone really gave it up.
Would anyone here be so kind as to lay it out for us?Thanks in advance.:spin:

We used to make them with Mackerel and piano wire. Not rocket science. Brine the macks, remove the backbone (optional) sew the mouth and gills shut, rig floss through the fish's nostrils and then tie then onto the wire, head to tail, no gaps in between the fish.

Nope, no weight at all. As the saying goes the bigger the weight the dumber the mate!:laugha:

I appreciate the info,Mike. How about if I used pogies instead of macks,or squid, still not even a chin weight?
Thanks again.:thanks:

I think I'd rather use bluefish than pogies. More of a natural prey for the tuna. Use the pogies to catch the bluefish!
