Thanks in advance.

Is the lipped swimmer an old Gibbs? Value?

The darter? The eye is telling? Value? both are dirty but could be cleaned up a bit.

Best,
Mike

Anyone on the minnow bait? I thought I saw something like this in the past attributed to Stan Gibbs....slot cut for plastic lip and painted over....was in a bag with mostly other Gibbs... some little dannies, darters, and a tiny polaris....

sorry...swimmer not a gibbs..home made folk art.

Skitterpop 08-14-2007 12:34 PM

Thanks all..... I swear I saw something very similar to the folksy one in some old thread or pics attributed to Stan Gibbs

Oh............... brain fart..... did`nt he have one with an open gap behind diving lip?

capesams 08-14-2007 05:21 PM

your thinking of the atom reactor..short.chubby//white belly-silverside-blue top...lip was on a wire molded into the plug,,flopped back an forth.

Yes!

I think MAC just posted one on the other site under collectors forum with two other old interesting baits.

Thank you CS!

The swimmer is a Creek Chub Viper. Worth about 5 bucks.
