Tell her this and no more grumpage!

Guys,
I'm 99% sure that this is a hoax, but its well done and pretty funny. http://www.theillustrator.com/CNN.co...studyshows.htm

Sorry guys, I guess the "authorities" got to the site before you guys did.

Hey Mike - That wouldn't happen to be the very scientific study on the CNN Health board about the reduced incidence of breast cancer in women (geez, I hope just women:confused:), who are regular uh, how can I put this, um gobblers? (John p.c. enough)
Anyway, it sure did look pretty official.But it has to be one of them too good to be true then it must be things.
I guess it doesn't really matter if I think it's true though, if she does, I'll go along for the sake of science.
Now, I wonder how that study on beer making you lose weight is comin along :D

Guys - I hate the term PC (and I don't try to think in those constraints) but yeh, it would not have been kosher on the "Public" site - would be more appropriate for The Gutter...

Tagger 10-30-2003 05:38 PM

disturbing..:af:

MakoMike 10-31-2003 08:38 AM

Billybob,
Yep that's the one. It really looked like the real mccoy. But as you said, when it seems too good to be true it probably is.
John,
FWIW it was written like a real CNN/AP medical report, nothing vulgar about it. Used the correct scientific terms, etc.

A new study shows.....

Wisconsin Study
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~
A study in Wisconsin showed that the kind of 'male face' a woman
finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her
menstrual cycle.
For instance, if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with
rugged and masculine features.
And if she is menstruating, she is more prone to be attracted to a
man with scissors shoved in his temple and a bat jammed up his @$$ while he is on fire.
Further studies are expected.
