braided lines

Are those braided lines worth using? I've heard people complaining about them but I don't know the positives and negatives.

thanks

they are worth it. it has to be spooled under tension. but cutting it is another story. u need a good knife to cut it. there is a thread that discuss on the braid line. go look for it.

you have to KEEP IT TIGHT. or two or three casts and cuss some, and get a new plug ready..
Good luck with it.

I use 30# test Spiderwire Stealth (8# diameter), and I love it. Iit's never birdnested on me lol, and it casts so much smoother. I'll never go back to mono.
