The Republican Party will become “The Party of Healthcare!”

Good luck making this a winning strategy.
I guess he has decided, in the past two years, that what he said then is no longer true:
“I have to tell you, it’s an unbelievably complex subject, nobody knew that health care could be so complicated.”

He'll have a real emergency this time, if his justice department succeeds in overturning the ACA, that really ought to scare you.

If it's deemed to be unconstitutional, it should be overturned.

This is a real loser of an issue for the GOP. They had years and years to come up with an alternative to Obamacare, and they didn't. They look incompetent on this issue, and they deserve to look incompetent.

Doesn't look like McConnell is jumping on this ship.

“I look forward to seeing what the president is proposing and what he can work out with the speaker,” McConnell said in a brief interview Thursday, adding, “I am focusing on stopping the ‘Democrats’ Medicare for none’ scheme.”

All Americans should be outraged that the healthcare system is so broken. Political party affiliation be damned.... it is brutal. I am slowly navigating through it in order to get a knee replacement approved and scheduled, after suffering a fall with traumatic injury, two weeks ago yesterday! Every service provider has agreed with me that the ONLY way to get immediate services AND have it covered is to call 911 and be transported by ambulance to an ER.... ridiculous. It steers you to implement the most costly service, or wait 30 days for authorization while they prescribe me oxys…. This is not a party problem!

At this point I feel the republican's should leave it be - if it's as bad as they say it is it will get worse/more expensive and then people will start bitching for an alternative.

In the mean time create and offer their own alternative to ACA and let the voters decide which one to enroll in.
