So let the speculation begin. Which boat/captain getting dumped ? |
dot com dave can't throw a harpoon very well
it must be a hard thing to do.... water bending the light as it does.... |
the show is terrible with the exception of marciano

The Show is exactly that, a Show, people shouldn't take it serious or believe much from the show, accept the jackass running a boat onto rocks at the bug light in Plymouth. |
Ronnie, your spelling would make your children blush.
Go hit the books before it gets worse. |
who ever is interested in meeting Marciano he can be seen most mornings at Zeek's coffee shop...so if in area going fishing on yankee fleet stop in on your way by...he has a charter Friday....if in area he will be at coffee at 5 - 5:30 if charter not cancelled
|

Funny, my wife does not like fishing at all, but she does like that show. I like the big guy, the captain of the Hot Tuna, who is always out there with his dog. And I find the harpoon boat/spotter plane interesting.
Interesting to me that the guys in the lead catch what, one fish a week? Not what I was expecting. Though I suppose there are better captains out there who have no interest in being on TV. As someone who knows nohting about this fishery, I like to watch it in small doses. I assume that all of the drama within the boats and between the boats, at least most of it, is scripted to generate interest. |
I just want the Dixon.
|
anyone notice bounty hunter has been non existant since 1st few weeks....probally couldn't find tune i.e....nothing to film except him bitching about googans lol
|
>>>>>>>What???<<<<<<<<
i thought "BITCHING" wazzzz :point: the SHOW |
My buddy and the boat he works out of glocester are interviewing for the spot this sunday. They make 4k per an episode and the highliners like tyler and .com r makin 100k per season plus what they catch. Sure makes tuna fishin a lot more affordable with a salary

the money is in the merchandising. the show doesn't pay remotely that much
|

Merchandising & Charters. One guy who's not really part of the show anymore and catches 2 fish a year, go searching and see what $$ he's getting for a full day ! |
so whats all the wicked tuna guys gonna do next year with all the rolling closure areas....gonna be no fishing there.....Ipswich and cape cod bays are gonna be crowded
|
Those are groundfishing closures. Not NO FISHING closures
