Chain Saw Carving

Pine boring beetles took out a pine tree this year and I just bought a new Echo 18" chain saw and figured I'd do something with the stump, rather than cut it down. I'm not ready for the country fair, but not bad for my first crack at an owl. Chain saw did most of it, a little torch for color and some marbles.

BOB! That’s sweet, looks like fun too

Keep your eye on the pines near by come spring, tough bug to kill

Love ytube, watched a owl carving video a number of times and had it on my cell to check steps, wasn’t more than a couple hours total.

Nice. One of my fraternity bothers Jesse "the machine" green was an art major and is big time with doing this. Gets big dough for doing it. He even had a show on national geo channel. Crazy that he paid all that tuition to do it and u learned it for free from YouTube
