Scotch ale and a Hoppy dark
My friend and I made a Scotch Ale and a Hoppy Dark Thursday. 5 gallons of each. Had the best hops that I had shipped to me from a hop farm in Yakima , WA. The scotch ales has a little special B and half a pound of Smoked Malt. Used a different yeast stain on the Scotch ale too. Both perking away now. I figure in about 3 weeks or so we get to try one of each.
Scotch ale should be 8.5% while the dark should come in at about 7%. |
