Code Requirements for insulation?

Curious what the (R) rating requirements are for walls and ceilings! R-13 for walls?? R-30 for Ceilings??

I believe it is 36 for ceilings but not sure

Wareham said r 39 ceilings .. makes it tough if your going a cathedral cieling .

r-38 in the ceilings and r-19 in the walls, if you can't fit those in the space it's going go spray foam, it's expensive but worth it in the long run,

just add a layer of rigid ins. over the strapping to reach the r-38, then rock with longer screws

R-38 was perfect.....37 is the town requirement. A pro could not have done better......pays to be anal retentive! Not fun insulating over your head however!
