Hello, hello!

Hello everyone, I'm Rob.

I don't know anything about fishing. I got into it a few years ago with the help of my, then 10yr old, step son. I bought a little fishing boat (which I've grown to hate) 14' aluminum semi-v lonestar with a 9.9hp mercury.

After my most recent failed fishing/camping trip... I decided that fishing from a boat for "whatever bites" isn't working very well... Started researching and found that Brookville Lake here in Indiana has a fairly strong striper population so that's what I'm setting my sights on.

I have a pair of mini-troll downriggers that I'll be using, but never above looking at other options. so yeah... hello! :)

I honestly have no idea. I've seen pictures of some pretty large ones (2.5-3' range), I'm guessing they are in the 15-20lb weight range?
