Weather Tech mats

Hi Guys
wondering if anyone has experience with Weather tech mats......

are they worth the money? Is there a less expensive product out there that is customized to vehicle

thanks

Jim

IMO - worth the money, reminds me I need to order some for the newer truck

Ditto what the Boss said...worth the money IMO. If you havent have not seen them in person they are more of a rigid plastic than a rubbery type mat. Raised edges so water doesnt run off and into the carpet and sand can just be swept out. They fit good and dont end up bunched up under the pedals, etc.

Worth the money to have them. That said, they do not fit my newer Tahoe as well as they did the 2000 Tahoe. I should really contact them about the less than good fit...… I am sure there are other manufacturers out there, Jim, like Husky. Here is a recent review, though it is pretty much a marketing piece for weather tech.

Wouldn't have a truck without them, keeps all the crap contained and easy to wash.

I’ve had one set of the custom fit ones and don’t think they held up all that well. The heavy rubber ones don’t protect as much but they last forever.

I have a weathertech cargo liner for my subaru forester. I considered weathertech but recently went with husky liners for the floor matts. I was able to buy a full set for closed to half of what it would have cost for weathertechs.

I got the weatherbeaters and dont regret the choice. Each vehicle the fit and differences slighly vary....google the vs..for your vehicle.

I got the weathertechs 445XXX series for my truck both front and back. They are one piece across which covers the center 100%.

For my wifes car I got Maxpider 3D, looks sharp. She's always at the beach with the kids. Was going to get those for my truck but they don't have a 1 piece for the front.

Put front, back, and bed liner in my 2018 Silverado. They catch all the dirt, crap, even spilled coffee and sand....worth it IMO.

Have a set in the front of my 2016 F250.They fit fine.On the drivers side there's a low spot in the mat that is right where the rockerpanel guide ends and the seam in the body is right at this low spot.So a lot of water in the floormat will run into this body seam and go under the rockerpanel guard.I put a small piece of towel at this spot to keep fresh&saltwater from running under the guard.
