First fish!
 

The Hawk got an 88 inch fish yesterday.Game on!:drool:

Someone else got the 1st hook up ,:wall: not landed/stopped !

I saw that Ronnie,but have yet to hear the story.I'm guessing codrod?I hooked a tuna in Oct,on a sabiki,with a Pt Jude tin as it's weight.Very sad day,it was the only one we hooked.:mad:

there's water creeping in from the east too... 90mi south of Oceanographer....a few more weeks...

Bobby... did that with a 15lb skipjack on a homemade PVC sabiki rod a couple of years back....
landed the fish though (albeit smaller than charlie)!

I was counting on Hotreels for the 1st fish of the year.

It's hard for us working stiffs to get out on weekdays however we gave it hell yesterday without any love.
This is the Hawks second year in a row catching the first fish:kewl:

It should be breaking open soon. Lots, and I mean lots of bait all over the bank.

We will hopefully see you out there next weekend. Jeff is going to slam em this yr,just hope he waits to post all those pics until I get at least one in the boat :)

I think I'm heading out Friday. Gonna give it a shot.....
