Rebel-fin ???

Tuesday on my noontime walk along Narragansett Bay, I found an older 7 inch plug that looks exactly like a classic Rebel floater with one exception, it has an integral molded lip just like a Redfin.

I have fished and seen about a zillion rebels over the years but I have never seen the molded lip on the 7 inch floater, only the clear plastic insert lip. Does anybody know if rebel made this plug or do you think it was a knockoff from somebody else? If you hold this plug next to a 7 inch rebel you cannot tell the difference on any feature except the lip.

It's a Norman

Yep , it's a Bill Norman who actually invented the rebel lure. Stiil made in Arkansas or somewhere like that. Got a couple all pearl white last year. Good plug but horrible to cast in any kind of breeze.

Ed, Hoxie is stocked.
