Plugfest 2008 9:00 am Time,place,directions and other info
 

OK, here is one thread hopefully with all info you need.

This is the 8th year S-B.com has had a plugfest from back when we had the first one in my shop in 2001. Time flies.

This year it will be held at the Carver Sportsman Club off rt. 58 in Carver MA. Saturday Feb. 16th And it usually runs from about 9:00 to 3:30 or so but MikeCC will have to confirm that since he arranged the hall for us.

If your coming off 495 S take exit 2 top of ramp take a Left.

495N take exit 2 top of ramp take a Right


go down about 2 miles take a left onto RT58 follow about 3-4 miles there will be an Eagle Gas Station on the Left. Take a left on the dirt road (club road) right after the gas station go to the end.
Handicap access at the rear of the club.

Downstairs is bigger than Upstairs but the Upstairs has more atmosphere.

I will add that you could also mapquest it if you want to
If you come from the north or west you may want to take 44 east to rt 58 then go south, the club will be on the right before eagle gas in that case.

There is a small fee to get in and most everyone brings a dish of food or something like drinks or plates etc. there is a food thread to refer to to get an idea of what is going to be there so check that out.

If the weather is nice, I can bring my lathe but if there is any chance of rain I cannot, so if anyone has one they don't mind bringing, let us know and thanks. I can demo a few things like wiring or tying tailhooks and might be able to show how to use the duplicator I made.

Bigfish Larry has offered to demonstrate airbrushing :btu:

maybe we can get PNG to do the offset thing again :hihi:


Nametags will be given at the door and everyone should use them so we get to know who you are.

Throwing Timber will be handling the contest plugs and voting ballots so see him for your entry if you have a contest plug to enter.

Thanks Bruce i just made my hotel accomidations and ferry reservations i'll be up Friday night so i can get there early and give you guys a hand setting up.:thanks:
