Rods/Reels

I need a spinning setup for casting out of the yak. For stripers.

What size reel and rod would be most appropriate?

I have a Saltist 4500 and a Baitrunner 4500B, too big for a 6' rod?

What size rod?

I have a convench setup for trolling already.

My understanding is you want a rod that is long enough to let the fish run around the front of the yak with out the line catching the kayak.

I use a Baitrunner 4500 on a 7' without issues

That is good news, saves me from having to buy another reel.
