Excellent fish Mike.
Looks like the tower hasn't collapsed yet either.

MarshCappa 09-06-2011 10:28 AM

Are you sure that fish weighs 715? Looks like maybe 685- 700 tops! LMAO!!!! Totally freaking kidding! What a great catch! I can't even imagine! Congrats!

Piscator 09-06-2011 12:11 PM

Oh boy......

Nice Slob

Saltheart 09-06-2011 05:06 PM

Nice fish!

thefishingfreak 09-06-2011 06:49 PM

Yes thank you all was quite the catch. Welcome to the big boys club I guess.
Dressed out @ 593 and on the way across the planet.
I can still hear the reel screaming and the twin turbos wound up in reverse. while the transom bashes violently backwards thru the sea. The props cavitating, the water rushing over the transom, thru the scuppers and into my buddies face. Never rolled on it side it was just swimming east 10 feet under the surface. Only saw it's white belly once and that's when I sunk the harpoon. My buddy followed it up with a flygaff for good measure
Was definitely a little nervous walking under it hanging off the tower but more so the forklift on the fish pier at low tide.
Just my buddy Jon riff-Raff and I in the boat we have been looking for this fish for a long time.
