Second Annual - DOWN the River Canoe/Kayak Regatta

BIG PRIZES given to the best time for each Canoe, Tandem Kayak, Solo Kayak!

Registration starts September 1st 2010 ending at 10:45am September 25th 2010.

$50 Per Boat Registration Fee at the time of Registration.
Proceeds from this event are going to the V.F.W.’s Roof fund.

The race will start promptly at 11:00am September 25th (rain date September 26th) from the Westerly In Town Boat Ramp. Best time wins each category.
The race will end at the Barn Island Boat Ramp

The awards ceremony and Buffet/BBQ will be immediately following the last boats finish at Hootie’s Café

You can drag an eel or lurer while you paddle there are a lot of bass along the way.

Just thought this needed a bump. One week to go, Any one who would like to do this can sign up the day of the event (25th) before 10:45. Free beer for the paddlers!
