Fall party boat options out of Pt Judith

The funds no longer allow for any 6-pack charters, so my 12 year-old and I will look at party boat options for another trip or two in the fall/early winter, out of Pt Judith.

I gather that some boats do a tog trip in the fall, where catching sea bass is also a distinct possibility. I also gather that some boats go for cod, where sea bass is also a possibility.

Anyone know what time of year is better for either of these? I like blackfish better than cod, but I haven't caught many cod at all, my son has never caught one. Which trip is a better bet for sea bass, maybe I use that as the tie-breaker?

OK put this in the wrong forum can't see how to delete it...

You mean Island Current? They seem to do well.

Crap shoot either way. FWIW some friends complained about the Island Current being very crowded on more than one trip.
