Wtf

From USA Today-

"President Obama, updated on the attack Friday evening, "expressed his profound gratitude for the courage and quick thinking of several passengers, including U.S. service members, who selflessly subdued the attacker," a White House official said. "It is clear that their heroic actions may have prevented a far worse tragedy."

Several passengers ? Those 3 marines saved the day.

"may" have prevented a worse tragedy??? Wtf??

What a way to honor those 3 heroes.

WTH, Honor them, he doesn't even Salute them.

Saw a pic of Bush leaving his plane after he landed on 9/11.
Withall he had on his mind he still saluted the Marine at the bottom of
plane and visited Andrews Air Base many times in the night, with no cameras around ,to pay his respects for the fallen.

Say whatever you want about Bush, you can't say he didn't respect and honor our Service men and women.

I'm confused on the outrage.

Shouldn't he directly congratulate the marines for stopping a horrible massacre that was going to happen?
Are these guys possible heroes or definite heros ?

Sweet jesus, it just happened about 24 hours ago and they're still trying to figure out what was really going down.

Are you expecting Obama to stop the government and hold a ticker tape parade?

Is this all a charade to convince Jim you're one of them?

Similar to waiting to lower the flags, classic Obama

Let's see. There's a n armed to the teeth camel jockey with multiple clips and an AK-47 and we need to find out what his intentions are?

If you find me at the Mews at happy hour, do you need to find out that I might be ready to kill a few beers?

That is not the point, and doesn't change the facts of who
respects the military more.
Only thing that proves is your good at Google.

Frankly, honoring the military - even if just as CINC - is just not high on his list of priorities. Bush, Carter, Bush, SR, Ford, all served in uniform in one capacity or another.

Obama was a Community Organizer, never had high responsibility. Never even finished his freshman term as a Senator. I am less bothered by his lack of CINC protocol than his general lack of skills. Even the most fervent Democart cannot say this guy was the best possible D leader that could have been put forth by the D party for the last nearly 7 years.

A president who respects the military is one who only uses it for the right reasons. ;)

As can be said about abortion. And in a "what if" world, all reasons are possibly right.

are those reasons black and white? or is it possible for a president to say..."what if ?" and then worry about the consequences intended or unintended later and would that make him smart or dumb? and who decides?

I see what you did there 👀

First of all....if you are going to be outraged at least get the branches of service right.....none of them were marines.....one was Air Force, one was National Guard and one was just a college student.

2nd, there was a British National involved and a French National involved....so 5 people, 2 of which were service members were involved....so believe it or not his statement was correct.

Ya know, I don't like the guy either, but slamming the guy for a quick statement that was accurate is friggin rediculous.

Don't you people have fish to catch

I said marines because when this story first broke, they were being called marines.

So your outrage isn't based on any concrete facts.....

i wouldn't call it outrage. Unless you are referring to Basswipe ;)
