Anyone going to Marathon or there abouts?.....just booked 10 mornings of bottom fishing....wife will be on the beach and I will be on the boat...fair enough....:)

Sounds like a solid plan you have there.

Headed to Palm beach to attend a trawler boat show and might be down there again later in the winter. Trying to decide if I want to make another keys trip or head to st. Johns for a week. I have never been there and heard great things. Might also do a cruise of the USVI and vicinity as well too..lots up in the air right now.

Have fun. They have some great bottom (and wreck) fishing. IMO the jigging bite off the man made wrecks is insanely good and there was no one else fishing it the times that I went. And there are some b i g fish too. Don't be surprised if a big 10' bull shark eats your gamefish on the way up. Have yellowtail for dinner. It's great.
