Original Stan Gibbs Lure
 

Ultra lite pencil.

He made a bunch of tiny lures. poppers, polaris', darters, bottles, pencils. It would be cool to focus a collection just on them.

Very nice condition. What does this lure measure and weigh?

Plug is 4.5" long weight is 11.2 grams.They also put a shot of lead in the belly underside.These work sweet,makeing a few for my ultra lite set ups.Nice when your fishing the back river for scoolies and you get wacked by a 10lb-er.

Somewhere, I have one of his mini-GS plugs. Might weigh something like 5/8 oz or so. They were sold in little glass vials like an Rx drug vial. 3-4" in length.

Here are some of the little ones I have lying around. I've been told the little poppers are Gibbs, but don't know for sure. Wish I had a little bottle plug, they were the coolest of the bunch.

I had a small pencil in a mack color. Jeeez that thing slayed em! Wish I still had it.

I have a 3 inch Blue Mackerel danny by Gibbs, never saw another...

I have about 9 mini gibbs (wish I knew how to post a photo), 4 of which are the mini bottle plugs, I'd be interesting in trading for a mini Danny or something else I don't have

I just found a couple of my mini gibbs pencil popper and a few mini atom swimmers.
