Nixon's war still going strong elsewhere

Fly Rod 03-08-2015 11:35 AM

It's all about TAXES nothing more......U would think the state would learn from alcohol and the deaths that it causes...now just one more thing mariyuana that a sober person driving or walking gets hurt or killed has to worry about someone high....all over more taxes....life means nothing to state ligislatures when it comes to filling the states coffers.

Nebe 03-08-2015 11:36 AM

I've never heard of a weed induced fatality.

Sometimes it is better to let people think you are stupid rather than proving it with comments like this.

Point being ... People die all the time from doing stupid things while stoned .

With some of your dopey statements it would seem you are no stranger to some type of substance abuse.

If not, then I recommend trying something to expand perspective.

Legalization is a mess - now people are suing employers because they were fired for using it medicinally - but their company policy says you can't use it because it's a public safety issue. Only a matter of time before someone in the Armed Forces sues the Feds because they have glaucoma.

Would you care if your kids school bus driver was baked?
Accepted or not, it's a mind altering drug and should be treated as such.

I'd rather have a stoned driver than a drunk driver and alcohol is legal ;)

Stupid is Stupid...under the influence of something is just an excuse. Idiocy runs rampant and at the end of the day, whether Stoned or Straight....the guy is an idiot to start the day he is still an idiot at the end of the day.

Plenty of people Drink responsibly, plenty of people smoke responsibly....

Plenty of idiots accidently shoot themselves and other people....do you appreciate the Gun Control nuts using those same idiots to support their cause.

Its the same rationale.....using the idiot factor to support a cause.

An Important Step Forward for Cannabis Legalization
Today Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Rand Paul (R-KY) are introducing a bi-partisan bill
called “The Compassionate Access, Research Expansion, and Respect States (CARERS) Act."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
throw Nixon's FALSE garbage classification(sched 3) into the toilet
where it belongs!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key Points Covered in the Bill:
- Recognizing States' Rights in Cannabis Regulation
- Making Cannabis a Schedule II Drug
-Allowing Government Funds To Be Spent on Research
- Removing CBD Oil from the Controlled Substances Act
- Clearing the Way for Vets to Use Medical Cannabis
- Dissolving Key Federal Issues for Cannabis Banking

Slipknot 03-12-2015 09:14 AM

removing oil from the controlled substance act is HUGE
I wish more people had access to it

beamie 03-12-2015 09:43 PM

Wow,

Sounds like most of you guys work in a profession that doesn't require any drug testing. I have to pee in the cup multiple times of year. Guess I don't have to worry about you talking my job.

the substance in the non thc oil
Charlotte web oil (some call it)
is the same substance in a human brain
which is "why" it's so effective
it literally is what creates connectivity or communication
between neurons ...so it shuts off "spasmodic haywire" response.

I work in a drug tested position as well......don't see why people can't enjoy life the way they want.

...IMHO I feel Alcohol is far more destructive than weed.

I've seen quite a few people turn into raving A-holes when drinking....never seen a stoned guy try and take on a whole bar before. :hihi: Take on a whole pizza before, absolutely, just not a whole bar

I totally agree with you there. I'm still not sure I want my surgeon or airline pilot being a regular user . And having a young daughter and watching her go through the dating scene I have found most of the losers she dates also are regular pot smokers. Coincidence maybe , but most 30-year-olds that don't own a car yet , also like their weed .

Sea Dangles 03-13-2015 06:56 AM

My guess is weed has prevented more fights than caused them. Selfishly, I would not want my surgeon or pilot to be ANY type of substance abuser...however in most cases, balance and good decision making are likely to result in ambitious youth. I am actually shocked to hear Buckmans daughter does not have an arranged marriage....JK

spence 03-13-2015 07:44 AM

I think some people would be astounded to learn how many fully functioning adults are also regular pot smokers.
