Question ?

Does anyone know where you can have old tapes (band tape cassete) converted to CD ?

I used to use a program That would convert to MP3. You would line into the soundcard Via microphone jack You could create the MP3 then convert to CD. The program was pretty good because it allowed you to insert stop bits. So you can set up accurate tracks. My only issue was There had to be time in between the two tracks. So if I were recording live performances from tape to MP3 transition was not seamless. Probably the best way to do it would be the stop in to say a guitar center or even just look it up on tucows

I've done this myself with a CD recorder.
Works like a tape deck except with CDR's.
You have to manually add track marks as you go (I have several with the track marks not in the exact place.....I hear the song end and sprint across my house to push a button....).
