Trump Fatigue Syndrome is setting in. Trumps numbers are falling. GOP talking points will now focus on ‘moving on’

Don’t take the bait.

If the focus of the mid-terms is on Trump, Democrats can hold back the historical off year trend and keep Congress.
The generic ballot is much stronger for Democrats than a mid-year cycle would suggest.

Inflation & the economy are huge weaknesses.

The J6 hearings are breaking through with voters.

Using the term ‘MAGA Republicans’ is working with undecideds.

19% of Republicans believe Trump committed a ‘crime’.

Trumps endorsement is no longer determinative in GOP primaries.

Trump supporter DeSantis is starting to outperform Trump in state polls.

Indictments are coming.

Presumably, so is a sustained communications drill to keep the focus on J6

It’s a long way to go until November but the Trump Fatigue among GOP voters is real.

No, not all of them will come back into the fold.

But the lines of the seditionists are cracking. It’s time to advance on them.

Texas seems to be closing ranks to protect Trump. The MAGA GOP controls the TX GOP.

Expelling the Log Cabin Republicans.

Violence against Crenshaw who supported gun control reforms.

Declaring Biden illegitimate as part of the party platform.

How can the GOP simply "move on"?

Everything Trump touches dies

fortunately for trump isnt on the ballot in november.

2 years later, and all you got is but trump. if he runs again, that’s a totally valid strategy. Today, it’s beyond pathetic.

Republican leadership KNEW that the Jan 6th hearings will have this effect (= massive damage to GOP into 2022 midterms & 2024 election cycles)

Which is why they tried to block or sabotage the hearings

Fox knew this damages THEIR audience, credibility & tried to hide hearings

Keep dreaming

Everything Trump touches dies

The Justice Department subpoenas the head of the Georgia Republican Party. Looks like federal prosecutors are getting serious about Trump’s fake elector scheme. The name in the subpoena is David Shafer. He was the go-to guy for the Trump campaign.

Do you?

It seems that people fail to understand that we are looking at the biggest and most profound scandal in American history which involves many of the leaders of one of our two political parties and hundreds of its elected officials.

The scale and scope of this fraud is enormous.

Among the 84 people who signed bogus documents claiming that Donald Trump won the 2020 election are dozens of local Republican Party leaders, seven current candidates for public office, eight current office holders and at least five previous state and federal office holders.

No, I just don't want to listen to you incessantly babble on about Trump, can't have a single thread on here without you going on a Trump rant, you're nothing but white noise as far as I'm concerned.

Pete, you’re fond of saying that everything Trump touches, dies.

Is the GOP dead? The GOP has 50 US Senators, a few seats shy of 50% of the house, and a majority of state legislatures and governorships. Is that a dead party? Really?

Biden inherited a 12 year run of zero inflation and ridiculous economic expansion ( until covid). Looks like that died on Bidens watch. That doesn’t mean it’s all his fault, but stock market run ups and zero inflation died on his watch. And america saw it.

And of all the polling data, of all the zillions of statistics out there, the most potentially impactful is the rightward shift of Hispanics. Is Biden killing the democrat ownership of the hispanic vote?

His monumental ineptitude could literally be causing a seismic shift in the political
landscaoe.

At the national level, we like moderate politicians in both parties, not radical extremists. The trump
administration, for all the legitimate. ethical scandals that should be addressed, governed as centrists. The biden administration governs like the whole country is San francisco. America doesn’t like it.

Quinnipiac poll

How much of the responsibility, if any, do you think Trump bears for the storming of the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021?

Voters
A lot 44%
Some 14%
Not much 14%
None 26%

Following Jan 6 congressional committee news “very closely”
A lot 67%
Some 8%
Not much 6%
None 18%

well, since congressional democrats also tried to steal an election in 2026, and some of them are still in congress and you won’t criticize them, maybe that is centrist….

what i meant, obviously, was policy. He did things which conservatives like ( tax cuts) and he did things liberals were begging for ( criminal
justice reform, which its worth noting obama chose not to deliver, even though he had a democrat congress to start off. It took Trump to do it).

that pesky Gallup poll, where an all time record number of americans said they were better off after 4 years of his policies. Why do YOU suppose Trump holds the all time
record in that poll?

This is why Desantis terrifies you. Hell advocate for policies that americans actually like, and he won’t make constant ethical
lapses to give you easy fodder. He’s the upside of Trump without the downside, with an unbelievable proven track record as governor to boot, Ivy League, Navy veteran, young…a ton can change between now and then, who knows what mistakes he could
make or already have made. But as of right now, the entire left is scared sh*tless of him. Who’s going to run against him, best bet is probably Gavin Newsom.

What would you be saying if Trump was president right now? Be honest!

Sorry, I remember the ENTIRE left saying Bush caused the subprime mortgage crisis, because it happened on his watch, even though he did nothing to cause it. Every single democrats said he did it, and that helped Obama win.

If a president is responsible for all bad things that happen on his watch, then so be it. But it can't only apply to Republicans.

I’ve already posted enough on this so you should know my answer, but if not scroll back, Trumps browmance buddy Putin has really screwed the global economy at a time we should have and needed a break. See I just saved you from scrolling back, to easy.

(1) you didn’t comment on Bush and the subprime mortgage crisis, so you didn’t save me from scrolling back which i’m not doing anyway because i know what your position would have been.

(2) inflation was a problem before the war. America isn’t buying the “Putin price hike” garbage.

(3) i’m old enough to remember when Romney said russia was a threat, Obama mocked him, and everyone in the left almost fainted because it made them love obama so much. the left only cares about russia as a byproduct of their deranged obsession with trump.

So I’m responsible for Greg Abbott?

Fine. I’ll explain what Abbott said, right after you explain Democrat Rep Hank Johnson expressing concern that the island of Guam might tip over if we build on it. Fair enough?

that’s your style. I’m responsible for everything that kooky conservatives do, but you’d never say you’re responsible for the stuff that kooky liberals do. Never.

Why is that?

You didn’t ask me about Bush, you asked if I’d blame Trump for the price of gas, which was I posted about. If you don’t think Putin’s war hasn’t been a major influence on gas, which in turn impacts the price of goods, I guess your grasp on things is a bit loose.
