Lamiglas wtb30 - White blank

Does anyone have any info on this blank? A buddy gave me one over the weekend and I'm wondering what its intended purpose is?

I'm thinking White Trolling Blank 30 pound class? But I'm not 100% sure.

Looks like it would make an awesome xxxh cod rod.

I tried looking it up in their catalog but couldn't find it. I also searched their site but no luck.

timber, i looked in some early Lami catalogs from the 2000s and the only thing i can find is the "RT"-series, which is "Regulation IGFA and Stand-Up Fiberglass". they were available in blank and white blanks in powers from 20# - 130#. the 30# they had was # "RT30" - 5' 2 1/2", 15 tip, .760 butt diameter, and weighed about 7 ounces. personally, i would never build a cod rod under 7', unless maybe you wanted a bait rod. plus, i like cod rods as light as possible if i plan on jigging. this blank is really best suited for the manufacturer's intended purpose.

I agree it would not make a good cod rod. Way too heavy for all day jigging. Ill just put it aside and get to it when I get to it :) thanks for the info Dave.
