That is a long soak, I have had pots move considerably in just 3 days. Several years ago we had a line of storms that kept mine out for about a week and they moved over 60 yards and were pushed into water 10 feet deeper than my lines were long. Luckily at low tide I was able to spot them and grapple the buoys on all but 1 of them. It is still out there on the bottom of Narr Bay, with all the seaweed on the rope it, on sonar looks a lot like the Loch Ness monster.

Two to one road, Long soak I know, just couldn’t get to them,,, looking for them tomorrow afternoon,,, after alby search of course :-)

Actually next couple days look good if ya don’t mind getting wet...

wdmso 09-12-2018 03:58 AM

east down here is nothing went out Monday late .. Saturday was worse but I had the same outcome nothing but tight lipped Albies even the Blues were selective ..

Rockfish9 09-12-2018 06:11 AM

I could hear the waves crashing the beach 2 miles away...didn't see a single boat ( tuna fleet) return last night...

Water temp in the river is down to 65 at low tide... lots of bait.. no fish not even schoolies at the bottom of the tide... plenty of sturgeon jumping though.

There is a spot in Narragansett that, on a NE wind and a high tide about Midnight, will light up like a Christmas tree. Eben knows!

Maybe 5-10 years ago it would... things have really sucked the last few years, and the level of suck only seems to grow with every passing year.
every year I work harder , for less.
