well good for her for being so passionate about her candidate. And, she is dead on.
As for all this pro-woman stuff, the Iraq debacle aside, how about Condi Rice, why do all these pro-woman Clintonites never acknowledge a woman in the 3rd highest position in the Country?

I don't get it either Jimmy. That woman has definitely been ignored. Didn't Madeline suffer through a similar situation?

because she has a penis.

Nancy Pelosi is third in line - not Condi.

Could be Joe, I thought Sec of State was in charge in Pres and VP were out of commission.

I think you're confusing her with Hillary.

The Presidential Succession Act of 1947
It's no biggie, Al Haig never heard of it either, when Reagan was shot he claimed he was in charge - side stepping the VP and SOH.

I dont mean to get too preachy, but this is the stuff that burns me up. I listen to a lot of talk radio, left and right. You hear so many liberals saying that conservatives have done everything to erase the civil rights movement and how this country is so divided, and on an on.

In the Bush administration we had Colin Powell, Rice, and Alberto Gonzalez as MAJOR minority figures. BUT, they cant get any recognition becasue it would contradict the democrats agenda! No one cites these people as role models,,,,,they look to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

striperman36 08-27-2008 12:21 PM

You notice in your statement Jim, you have not one woman listed. Isn't just a social stereotyping that we regardless of party are just not open to viewing women as political role models?

Hillary is an exception, but still not a role model

All put the good of this country aside to better their party and stay on message...be it with powell and rice in the beginnings of the war in Iraq to Gonzalez's biased decision making.... No Thanks.. :yak5:
