i dont think anyone has done more to promote jazz the last 20-30 years than Wynton. Always seems like a class act and great player.

you sir have good taste. He is a fantastic musician from a fantastic musician family and like RIJ said a true ambassador of that genre of music. I saw that and it was awesome especially the part in Cuba. I am really kicking myself for not taking in his concert with that band this year. I was going to go but forgot. I really enjoy that band, sound, a lot. My pod is loaded with his stuff, solo albums to Lincoln stuff. I have followed a few of the Lincoln musicians over the years. Cyrus Chestnut is a fantastic piano player and has several really good albums out . Worth a listen.

Saw the 60 minute piece ,,, great stuff in Cuba,, amazing what the arts can do to bring people together and enjoy each other .. They got some jazz lovers down there .

I overheard that he stuck his head in a joint down in Provincetown and ask if he could jam with a few guys while on vacation.

The waitress called her husband who was home and filmed the session on her cell phone
