Ukraine sinks Moskva
 

Reports from Ukraine last night state they struck the Russian Navy's Black Sea Flagship, Moskva, a Slava Class Cruiser, with two indigenous Neptun that were just fielded. Scuttlebutt is they used a Bayraktar drone to lure Mockva's defense systems and hit the cruiser where it can't see.

I suspect they launched a lot more than 2 Neptun but two made it through Mockva's point defenses. A Slava class cruiser is roughly equivalent to an Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer.

RU media and official sources state ship was lost in the Black Sea due to fire.

UA claims they hit it with two Anti-Ship missiles.

RU states fire onboard exploded ordinance.

Both could be true.

Crew close to 500.

This was the ship that fired on the Ukranians at Snake Island very fist days of war.

All kidding aside, this may be the largest naval loss of life since General Belgrano, and some information I am seeing it may exceed that.

The fact that Russia is disintegrating before us in a conventional sense makes it even more dangerous.

Who knows at this point what is true and prob. won't change the course of the war but will hurt the morale of the Russians.

John’s concerns of the Russian response going off. The rails is correct and the same concerns of Nato .. they. The Russians just claimed Transportation in nato air space were legitimate targets.

If RU shoots down NATO aircraft over NATO territory it is probably the switch getting flipped. NATO might be able to resist one downed aircraft, but two and everything changes. If NATO rail systems are attacked on NATO soil, then yes, it is on.

I saw video 2 days ago of older NATO equipment (not troops) being moved into UA via rail - but it was not confirmed.

With Sweden saying yes to NATO membership (does not mean all NATO members will concur, and they have to) and Finland signalling they are leaning towards NATO, things might get more spicy yet still.

It’s starting to feel like Trump is in charge of the Russian Navy.

I’m not panicked over it.
There’s actually a procedure in our system of government to replace a “failing” President, so perhaps some will get their wish for a President Harris.
Say Biden, like Reagan has some symptoms of one or another aging disease.
But he’s not a malignant narcissist, is a good man with a great deal of experience making our political system work and he along with his administration has done a good job coordinating the free worlds effort to assist Ukraine.
He and his administration had and have to deal with more issues than any President in recent history.
Most all of them were inherited from previous administrations.
We will see what happens and eventually history will judge him.

hunters dad is a public servant in case you didn’t know, and there’s obviously a chance he’s in it up to his neck. Biden claimed he never once spoke to Bunter about business, when there’s all kinds of evidence that can’t be true, in addition to it being laughable just on its face.
