Technically illegal. And the urban legend is that they got fined, even though there are 2 coasties in the video cheering them on.

If I ever get to wrestle a tuna by hand from shore - kiss my ass and fine me. I'll have a story for a lifetime.

If this is the video of two guys in P-town who pushed the tuna on the beach and one ran out of picture ,came back with a knife and killed tuna, they were arrested and fined! Fed fish cop told me this at first light seminar in NH a couple years ago. Glad I wasn't in my boat at the time cuz when I told him I thought he was an A-hole for busting them he didn't like it much! He obviously mistook me for someone that cared what he thought about his opinion!
