Scratched car

I got out of my car this morning and noticed a big, prob 15-20 inch scratch on my driver's side door. Prob happened in the garage at work yesterday as I can't think of any other way it could have happened. People are such aholes!!

Anyway, am I gonna have to file an insurance claim and pay my $500 deductible? It seems like its past the clear coat, so any body shop is prob gonna charge me a fortune.

Get an estimate before going the insurance root.

If they're gonna charge a lot, it might be worth checking to see if there are cameras in the garage. If there are and you can see the other driver scratching it, it might be worth going that route.

You could get it painted for less than $500

sounds like someone pushed a piece of equipment
past your car and "perhaps" accidentally scratched it
so grab a tape measure and measure from the floor
to the scratch and then look for the same height
on anything on wheels
