tuna gone for season?

Haven't heard much tuna talk at all this year...but I'm not surprised because it seems like it's been windy all of September :wall:

The big bluefins usually show off the RI beaches around Thanksgiving!

They're all offshore and won't becoming in close this fall before they go south.

Might as well winterize your boats and shrinkwrap them now :grins:

A couple customers up from NJ this weekend and they've never caught a tuna. Well, ELMO changed that......

Thanks Moses. I was wondering if they left Stellwagen already...guess that answers it :-)

5-6 straight weeks of blow, not many boats getting out.

srt44116 10-14-2010 11:22 AM

Got out yesterday, Fish everywhere, just not in big pods, I have a feeling that is sill summer feeding habits, and there will be big blitzing schools within the next few weeks

taJon 10-16-2010 08:55 PM

Raider Ronnie 10-17-2010 07:26 AM

Keep in mind also with the regulations set this year very few rec boats been going out compared to the past recent years.
