He's a guy that plays music the way I like to. I obviously don't have the skills to compose like him or vamp and play lead like he does. But I love the ascending and descending minor major 7ths 9ths etc. Then punch back into a 145 type rythymn. The only people who used to like playing with me were drummers. Most of my friends were all rock and blues and didn't really follow me jamming. I usually would just grab a bass because it was more fun to play with rock on Bass and dump fillers in that related. Not very disciplined I guess.

I really like his use of effects too. Not overdone but still noticeable. He knows how to place tones in the effect to add to the composition as opposed to just adding effect for added noise. Pretty cool player.
