Breakaway cannon

Worth it? I ordered two in a weak moment... Different name, but same thing. I think Slip used to use one? Anyone else?

Saves your finger when casting heavy stuff with braided line

Takes a few casts to get used to it but I can really lay into a cast using those.

Use a band aid unless your ch#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g 6oz sinker and chunk of pogie But for 8 bucks a piece not a big risk

I cut it into 1" discs (or by the 1" stuff). Surprisingly, I found it much better than J&J stuff. A few wraps over the top 2 sections of your finger. Stays on all night on wet fingers. Can even apply wet

I used Mac’s once when fishing the canal. Holy chit... I was casting 30% further than I could without one on my gear. If I remember right I was casting 5 ounce buck tails with curly tails

I never used them as I always did the Michael Jackson one Aquaskinz glove thing after the first time I sliced a finger on braid.

BUT a lot of people swear by them and I should probably revisit that.

Long time user here, but mostly on heavier spin setups. They have worked very well for me

Feels like that now, sometimes, after fishing years just below divorce level ; )
